Land Development Senior Civil Engineer
We're growing our Land Development team in Northwest Arkansas and looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to help lead our projects and the people working on them.
This role is for an engineer who loves the work: solving site challenges, getting the details right, and seeing a project go from concept to built. You'll have real ownership of your projects and a hand in developing the engineers around you. If you're thinking about team leadership down the road, there's a path here for that too.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll lead land development projects from early planning through construction, working directly with clients, municipalities, and our internal teams. Along the way, you'll:
Lead site design for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater
Own construction documents from first sketch to final set
Guide projects through permitting and municipal approvals
Support projects during construction and solve issues as they come up in the field
Mentor and review the work of engineers earlier in their careers
Build relationships with clients who come back to work with us again
What We're Looking For:
[6+] years of land development or site civil experience
PE license (or the ability to obtain one in Kansas or Missouri within [X months])
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program
Strong working knowledge of site design, grading, drainage, and utility design
Experience taking projects through municipal review and permitting in the Kansas City area
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
